Avenue 365 Lender Services, LLC a national title insurance agency,  is looking to establish and assist in forming a new Texas title agency.  We are in need of a licensed TX Escrow Officer that has similar goals with experience in the TX title insruance industry to lead this agency to success. We are a customer service focused agency looking for someone who will operate with compliance, integrity, and an unparelleled level of service to our clients.  The core competancies are:

  • Act as the designated agent for a new TX Title Insurance Agency
  • Manage the day to day operations on site and oversee compliance, audit, hiring, and every day business needs
  • Oversee the staff and the staffing requirements based on an analysis of current and future volumes
  • Make risk business decisions and handle final escrow accounting
  • Work with PA office on redundance processes, reconciliations, back office support
  • Handle best practices, audits(TDI and underwriter), and assist with STAT reporting
  • Handle account management from a operations perspective to handle client demands and needs


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between Company, the loan officer and the borrower
  • Manage, train, hire, schedule and provide coverage for staff associated with Order Entry, Title Processing, Title Clearance, Scheduling, and Closing
  • Review search materials for vesting, requirements, and exceptions to be satisfied at the table and investigate/research/resolve issues with the title commitment in preparation for closing
  • Work with outsource partners to prepare and QC title commitments to be delivered to customers
  • Work with underwriting to clear complex issues and obtain over the limit liability approvals
  • Assists with deeds, subordinations, payoffs, HOA items, and other title matters as needed
  • Verify any transfer tax/mortgage tax associated with a  deed in order to record
  • Manage search and closing vendors and reduce costs on a daily basis
  • Provide coverage for on-call after hours line either by covering personally or arranging coverage by staff and adjusting their timecard
  • Manage/train/hire processing staff if and when applicable to facilitate pipeline of purchase orders
  • Review Contracts, open orders, clear title, arrange closings, work with realtors, buyers, sellers, and lenders to close purchase transactions


Experience Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed TX Escrow Officer
  • Must have 7+ years of title experience, to include emphasis on  escrow operation
  • Strong accounting knowledge and/or experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external customers
  • Detail oriented with a comprehensive, accurate and timely execution & presentation
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Knowledge of basic computer software programs to include Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet and Microsoft Outlook (Knowledge of Ramquest a plus)
