Primary Function

The Secondary Marketing Associate is responsible for providing assistance in the secondary marketing function to facilitate the profitable buying and selling of loans. This is a great opportunity for a recent grad to gain experience in the financial services market. 

Responsibilities

  • Assists personnel responsible for the management and operations of the secondary marketing team
  • Reviews and processes investor purchase advices
  • Manages loans sale processes including file delivery, due diligence, and funding
  • Reviews investor credit denials and make recommendations to senior associates
  • Maintains records, files, and documentation of transactions related to the purchase and sale of loans
  • Performs all assigned responsibilities in a manner that will ensure continued good relations with established contacts, and the development of good relations with new contacts
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements  

  • Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements  

  • Proficient MS Office skills
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
