Primary Function

The Recruiter is responsible for recruitment for the Retail business unit, including, but not limited to: phone screening, scheduling interviews, interviewing, evaluating candidates, and presenting offers for sales positions.  This role has the ability to partner with hiring managers to build and maintain relationships, while sourcing the best candidate for the position and the company.

  • Responsible for national recruiting of retail loan originators
  • Interacts with various departments and hiring managers to determine the goals of the department and hire a quality candidate based on those interactions
  • Determines the best resources for the position including posting on an appropriate job board, sourcing the best candidates, screening, and interviewing the candidate
  • Presentation of offer to the candidate, communication between candidate and hiring manager if negotiations are required, acts as point of contact until candidate on boards with New Penn Financial
  • Ensures that New Penn Financial and its hiring managers are making the best hiring decision for the candidate, the department, and the company overall
  • Performs additional projects and duties as assigned


 Education and Experience Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • One (1) to three (3) years of recruiting experience
  • Corporate or Agency recruiting experience is required
  • Mortgage industry experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements  

  • Previous experience utilizing an ATS (application tracking system) or iCIMS is a plus
  • Experience with social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) is required
